Ruth Koller Burke is a Partner at Koller Herlihy LLP with more than 25 years of experience. Ruth provides legal services related to estate planning, trust administration, and probate. Her unique blend of experience as an estate planner and a litigator, involvement with the preparation and trial of hundreds of cases representing Fortune 500 companies, provides her with the ability to effectively manage all aspects of estate planning and trust administration, including navigating clients through contentious and challenging family dynamics.
Ruth graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law and obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Service from the University of California, Riverside. Prior to forming Koller Herlihy LLP, Ruth managed her own law practice and was a tax consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Ruth was born and raised in Lafayette and returned to Lamorinda to raise her family. She is an active volunteer in the community and has been a Board Member of numerous philanthropic organizations, including Boys Team Charity and National Charity League. Ruth is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Contra Costa County Bar Association, Estate Planning and Probate Section and East Bay Trusts and Estates Lawyers.
